Memory is an extension of the topic of identity. Although Identity gives us a sense of belonging, it puts a tag on us simultaneously.

Experiments with Structures


Everything started from those generations. Everythinng start from the past.

We talked about our grandfathers; both fled to Taiwan with the Democratic Party during the Chinese Civil War. They were from different regions of China and shared different cultures. I can barely understand their Mandarin through the thick accents.

…I usually need my mom’s translation when I visit my grandpa. Funny things happen because of the misunderstandings. Memories made, I still love him even wthough e have/ had so many barriers.
